Build to learn
I don't study things from a distance. I build them to understand them. Fastest way to know something is to make something with it.
See the system
Every problem sits inside something bigger. I look for the patterns and leverage points that others walk past.
Ship before perfect
Done beats perfect. Putting something out there teaches you more than another round of refining ever will.
Question the default
"That's how it's done" is never a good enough reason. If something can be better, I'd rather challenge it than accept it.
Stay curious
I follow what interests me, across disciplines, industries, rabbit holes. The best ideas tend to come from places you weren't looking.
Make it matter
I don't build for the sake of building. Everything I put effort into should mean something. To me, to the people using it, or to the world around it.
